jennifergiffin design (jgd) is a boutique design co. with the focus of our work in private residences and select office spaces. jgd offers a full service design co. where we approach every client uniquely. From the creative concepts to the end of completion. Each client and project - no matter the size, is individual and requires the skills and commitment of our partners that jgd works with. We love what we do and are proud to work with the talented builders, architects, the artisans, skilled trades and our suppliers. Together we all work in unison to bring our clients dream to reality.
jennifer giffin, principal
jennifer giffin was born and raised in Toronto (with a slight detour in California) and studied Interior Design at the ARIDO and FIDER accredited International Academy of Design in Toronto. Upon graduation, she started YYZ design, which focused in retail design.
While raising her 3 children, she continued to design and renovate residences along with corporate spaces over the past 25 years. jgd was formally founded in 2015.
Every project should be a reflection of the people that live and use it. The design should be functional, easy and the background to their unique personalities. Her affinity for a clean, timeless, contemporary style inspires her bespoke approach to every space, while gently pushing boundaries, spaces are created with new possibilities.
